Vice-President Joe Biden angrily denounced Rep. Joe Wilson's outburst during a joint session of Congress Wednesday evening.
"I was embarrassed for the chamber and a Congress I love," Vice President Joe Biden said Thursday on ABC's "Good Morning America." "It demeaned the institution."

Joining the Vice-President, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, a California Democrat, said, "I find Rep. Wilson's outburst rude and a breach of propriety." The House Speaker went on to say, "I find it hard to believe that Rep. Wilson forgets there are over 535 liars in this chamber when both houses meet. Surely, he could show enough manners to at least add a title and name when calling out to one of us in assembly."
Biden added, "I agree with Speaker Pelosi, I mean, criminy! Did you see how many lawmakers nearly injured their spines twisting to see who Wilson was giving a shout-out to?"
Nearby, the South Carolina Republican, Wilson tried to explain that his outburst was an unfortunate, but totally innocent mistake. "Look, I know it was wrong, but some of my seatmates got to playing a drinking game called "How well do You Know Your Months" and I got a little carried away, that's all."
